Candle Holder
How can I clean a copper candle holder that's covered in wax?
I bought this candle holder at a local second hand store, because I fell in love with the intricate designs and the gothic kind of shape. The stubs of three of the five candles it holds are still stuck where I can't get them out by hand, and the wax is all over the base and stems. How can I get the wax off, and how should I clean the copper finish afterward?
Put it in boiling water. The wax will melt off. I would not remove the patina. Just dry with a soft cloth.
